R12 CLX SE

R12 CLX SE BOLT ACTION

This is the R12 CLX SE Bolt Action Air Rifle Trimex Arms BSA .22 – Following the success of the Ultra CLX model in 2021 and R12 CLX Pro in September 2022, and most recently, the demand for the R12 CLX Bolt Action. Trimex Arms and BSA have released this NEW R12 CLX SE Bolt Action Air Rifle Black Edition. Building on the success of the much-loved R10SE, this R12 has been designed to not only enhance the classic features of its predecessors but also to add key benefits and improvements that allow this new variant to achieve even greater levels of performance.

Designed, developed, and manufactured at the BSA Headquarters in Birmingham, England, BSA’s core values were firmly at the forefront of development throughout this process. Key changes introduced for all NEW R12 CLX SE Bolt Action Air Rifle Trimex Arms BSA Black Edition include the use of the now tried and tested mono-block platform, which reduces components and complexity and improves reliability and efficiency. As this is a CLX model, it uses our 12-shot magazine system with the additional safety features of a ‘cocked’ indicator and the BSA’s cherished bolt action. Air efficiency has improved with an all-new regulator, and we have maintained the standard 200cc air bottle for this model.

THE CLX SE

This R12 CLX SE Bolt Action Air Rifle Uses higher-graded materials and components such as stainless-steel pellet probes and a clearer, larger pressure gauge that makes reading air pressure in the rifle easier; these new features all go towards a PCP air rifle that keeps the spirit of the original R12. Including the trigger and trigger guard, and because it is a BSA, it has the world-renowned hand-chambered, crowned and choked cold hammer forged barrel – possibly the most accurate barrel available.

The CLX magazine has 12 shots and includes a shot countdown window, ensuring you have full visibility and control over how many shots you have left. The R12 CLX Bolt Action comes fitted with the BSA CCS (customer configurable shroud) system, allowing the choice of either a shrouded silencer or, for those wishing to use a larger diameter ‘scope’, the CCS can be customised to remove the shroud and utilise only the ‘silencer’ part of the system with all the required components supplied in the box. Accuracy, precision and craftsmanship have been combined to produce this next-generation, new R12 CLX Bolt Action, but don’t just take our word for it; judge it for yourself.

This rifle is designed to deliver less than 12-foot pounds of power to stay within UK law. However, FPS depends on the pellet weight and quality, i.e. brand used. Each rifle will perform differently, so we recommend trying different brands of pellets to see what works best in your new air rifle. FAQs

What Is A PCP Air Rifle?

PCP air rifles use built-in air tanks to store compressed air. This compressed air is then used as the propellant to fire the pellet downrange.

How Do You Fill The Tank?

The air is compressed by using a hand pump, a divers scuba tank, or a carbon fiber tank (like the ones used in paint guns). When the air guns tank is filled to the correct pressure, it is ready to fire.

How Many Shots Does A PCP Air Rifle Have Per Fill?

This is dependent on the make and model, the ammo size and weight, and the length of the barrel. It also depends a lot on the FPS - FT/LBS your rifle is shooting and if it is regulated. However, a good average is 100 shots per 100CC; also, please take into consideration not all of the shots will be good - when the tank is about three-quarters empty, your shots will reduce in power and quality. So if you have a 425CC tank, we would hope to see 300 good shots depending on many different factors. Disclaimer, this is just a rough guide and should not be taken as technical advice. Please see the manufacturer's website or the specification table on the Just Air Guns product page if the manufacturer has published this information.
