GAMO came together back in the late 1880’s as Antonio Casas, S.A. based out of Barcelona, Spain, but they really hit their stride as GAMO when it came to high-quality Air Gun and gear for the European market during the 1950s, especially when they started exporting airguns in the 1960s. Today Gamo is reported as the largest airgun manufacturer in Europe. Shooters in over fifty different countries all over the world use their Air Rifles and air pistols. There are good reasons for this: they produce and inspect each of our components and make all their own metal parts. European Walnut and Beech are used for our air rifle stocks, each individually processed and shaped by specialised, fully computerized machinery.
