The Beretta 92FS is another outstanding CO2-powered replica air pistol. It looks and feels the same as the Beretta pistol used by many military forces and law enforcement agencies. The air pistol has a few names; on some websites, it is the Beretta 92 FS, the printed manual that comes with it calls it the Beretta 92FS, and the label on the side of its case says Beretta M 92 FS. Everything on this pistol is metal except for the checkered plastic grips. There are several models available, and we will look at a few of them here on this blog. What all of the models have in common is that, while they look like their semi-automatic firearms counterparts, they are, in fact, double-action revolvers. Press the slide release lever on the side of the receiver, and the front of the slide moves forward to reveal the slot for the 8-shot rotary magazine. LET’S LOOK AT THE PROS
- All metal construction – good weight and a very solid feeling gun – German-made
- Comes in a nice pistol-hard case
- Very nice looking pistol in any finish
- Adjustable rear sight for windage
- Double and Single Action trigger, very smooth and light in both actions
- Ambidextrous safety just like the real pistol
- Very good accuracy
- Decent FPS for a pellet shooting pistol
- Very good usage of CO2 (12 magazines +)
NOW FOR THE CONS
- More expensive than many entry-level pistols but much higher quality
- The sights are a bit hard to see when shooting on certain darker backgrounds
- Engraving on the right side of the gun is a bit loud on the black version

I have to say I pretty much like almost everything about this air pistol: its size, looks, German build and quality, and the ease with which it shoots. The Umarex Beretta M 92 FS air pistol, along with the other German-made Umarex rotary magazine air pistols, is one of those airguns I think everyone should save up for just to have the pleasure to own and shoot. There is nothing to substitute quality, and a gun like this will give you the pride of ownership and years and years of shooting enjoyment. I have one of each in my collection; however, the 24K gold model is the most treasured pistol I own to date.
