It’s a testament to their rock-solid design and popularity that both types of rifles are still in production today. But the Winchester name has also managed to cross the divide from centrefires to Airguns, and the Model 45/55 and 45/55RS springers that are very much inspired by the Model 70. The Model 55RS and 45RS are scope-only air rifles but come with a moderator and rail, while the Model 55 and 45 are fitted with fibre-optic open sights.
