The Reximex Mito Race Bronze .177 is a compact, regulated PCP air pistol designed to deliver excellent consistency, balance and handling for target shooting and recreational plinking. Building on the popular Reximex Mito platform, the Race version introduces a number of performance-focused upgrades, including a refined trigger, enlarged side-lever and distinctive lightweight bronze barrel shroud.

At the heart of the Mito Race is a factory-fitted regulator, helping maintain consistent air pressure and pellet velocity from shot to shot. The pistol uses a removable 50cc aluminium air cylinder, filled to a maximum pressure of 250 BAR, while the .177 version provides approximately 55 shots per fill at optimal velocity according to UK distributor/retailer specifications.

Fast Side-Lever Action

The Race model features an enlarged side-lever, designed to make cocking and reloading quick and positive. Combined with the 9-shot .177 magazine, this makes the Mito Race particularly enjoyable for rapid target shooting while retaining the precision expected from a regulated PCP.

Two multi-shot magazines are supplied, along with a single-shot tray, allowing shooters to choose between convenient magazine-fed shooting and deliberate single-pellet loading.

Improved Race Trigger

Another key upgrade is the refined two-stage adjustable trigger. Its competition-inspired design provides greater control over the shot release and complements the pistol’s regulated action.

The rifled 200mm barrel helps provide excellent accuracy from the compact platform, while power is approximately 4.7 ft-lb, keeping the pistol comfortably within the UK air-pistol legal power limit.

Lightweight Bronze Race Design

One of the most distinctive features is the cut-out bronze shroud. As well as giving the pistol its striking Race appearance, the lightweight design reduces weight towards the front of the pistol, helping improve balance and making target transitions quicker.

Despite its solid PCP construction, the Mito Race weighs only around 900g and measures approximately 330mm overall, making it particularly compact and manageable.

Turkish Walnut Grip

The Bronze model features an attractive Turkish walnut grip with an ambidextrous palm-swell design, providing a comfortable and secure hold for both right- and left-handed shooters.

The pistol also features an 11mm dovetail rail for fitting compatible optics and comes with a MOS rail adaptor for additional sight-mounting options. Open sights are supplied, so the pistol can also be used without an additional optic. A red-dot sight shown in some promotional images is not included.
